Direct answers on what kaikai is, what the deal includes, how visitors enter, and where we operate.
kaikai is an IT Managed Service for venues and activity centers in Indonesia — ticketing, entrance gates, point of sale and visitor records in one system. It is built by WidaTech, which has worked in IoT, software and access control since 2019.
No. Despite the similar name, kaikai has no connection to PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), the state railway operator, or its website kai.id. kaikai (www.kaikai.id) is a venue-technology company owned by WidaTech that provides ticketing, entrance gates, POS and visitor records for waterparks, theme parks, zoos and pools.
You don’t buy kaikai — you share what it earns. There is no money upfront, no licence fee and no hardware bill. kaikai installs the whole system and takes a share of what the venue earns through it, so a busy season is good for both sides and a quiet week costs you very little. The rate depends on your venue; one WhatsApp conversation is usually enough to get a number.
Gates and readers, POS terminals, software and hosting, deployment, staff training and standard support — all provided by kaikai, with nothing to pay upfront. The team stays on site after opening until your manager no longer needs them.
Waterparks, theme and amusement parks, zoos and aquariums, and swimming pools and clubs. Every type of place uses the same system, configured for its own segment.
QR codes, RFID wristbands and face scan work at every gate — about 1.4 seconds per visitor, recorded by the system straight away. In waterparks one wristband opens the gate, opens the locker and pays for food and rentals.
Online sellers such as tiket.com, Traveloka, Agoda and Klook, plus agents and your own counter, all sell from one shared ticket count — so nothing is sold twice.
QRIS, BCA, Mandiri, GoPay, OVO, DANA, cards, cash and wristband taps — matched into one balance as they happen, not at midnight.
Installations include KYZN (56 door access points with QR and RFID entry), FITCO (swing gates with in-house QR controllers), Harita Group and Panin Bank (flap barrier gates with RFID and anti-passback), and Norupin (face-recognition smart kiosks).
kaikai is based in South Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia, and has built venue systems across six markets: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan.
Chat on WhatsApp (+62 853-8585-7755) or email hello@kaikai.id. Tell us your venue’s size, season, where you sell and how many gates — one conversation is usually enough, and messages are usually answered within the hour during venue hours.
